"C.B.", STS's lead instructor and course elaborator, was Active in Iraq 2003-2005 commanding a PSD team in Baghdad, training local Iraqi close protection teams and ran the security for an Iraqi telecom call centre and training the guard force, also carrying out low and high profile Close Protection for various clients. Prior to this he has 14 years’ service with the Royal Marine Commandos and is an experienced Instructor teaching Royal Marine Recruits weapons and tactics. C.B. also served as a Reconnaissance Troop Operator, RM Sniper, Nuclear Weapons Escort Commander and Maritime Security Team Leader. On completion of his Military service he went on to graduate from the Professional Bodyguard Association Close Protection course, after working in Iraq he went on to instruct on a Hostile Environment course. He is a qualified First Aid Instructor, AED Instructor, Medical Gases Instructor and is still employed as an operational Close Protection Officer. C.B. regularly trains Middle Eastern Armed Forces in Sniping and various Tactical Disciplines.
