10 Day CLOSE PROTECTION OPERATORS SHOOT. This course is designed for anyone who is required to live or work in dangerous, challenging or remote environments, this helps personnel to operate more effectively and have greater confidence in their role.Taught by instructors with on the ground experience and expertise in the regions you will be operating in. We aim to meet the duty of care requirements laid down for contractors employed abroad. The emphasis is Team work and Team drills as well as individual techniques, the conditions in which contractors operate can be very difficult and challenging, through a training package designed specifically with the location and nature of the client operation in mind, employees can be fully prepared for the risks that they may face.This course consists of the 4 Day Firearms package plus the extra 2 Days of the Maritime Security package (so that operators can have the Maritime shoot as well as the CPO shoot) followed by a further 4 Days consisting of team drills such as pairs fire and manoeuvre, 4 man contact drills and vehicle anti ambush drills. Anyone that has completed the 4 Day course or the 6 day Maritime within six months can do the remaining 6 Days or 4 Days to qualify for the full CPO course. You will join the next available course at your entry point.
